Why do you require socks?
The short answer... feet are gross! Socks help to keep our play area floors sanitary for our little friends.
Why do you charge for adults if they are not "playing"?
We charge a small fee for adults due to capacity limits. How you choose to utilize our play space is up to you however all adults are required to pay admission for access to the space. Plus, sometimes the adults have more fun than the kids!
Do you have free wi-fi?
We sure do! Just ask us for the info when you check-in.
What is your age limit?
Our play space is designed for children ages 0 to 6. Older siblings are welcome as long as they can follow our safety rules. While we encourage play and creativity we do not allow excessive rough housing, throwing toys or other behavior that could result in injury or destruction of equipment.
Are reservations required?
Reservations are highly recommended to avoid disappointment (especially during summer months) and speed up your check in process. Walk-ins are welcome IF we have space available.
What is your cleaning/sanitation routine?
Keeping our play area clean and safe is our TOP priority. All high touch surfaces and small toys are sanitized on a daily basis and we utilize a "yuck bucket" for small toys that need extra attention throughout the day. Even with a strict cleaning and sanitation routine, please understand that germs happen and we cannot prevent them entirely. By entering our play are you agree to certain risk and yes illness is possible!
Birthday Party FAQ
How do we reserve a birthday party?
Reservations can be made through our online booking portal. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your preferred time and date.
How many children and adults can attend?
We recommend our space for no more than 20-25 children and 60 guests total. We do not charge per person with the exception of some party add-ons like goody bags.
Can older children attend?
All ages are welcome but keep in mind that our space is designed for children under 6 years of age. Older kids should receive a pep talk before playing. While we encourage play and creativity we do not allow rough housing, throwing toys or other behavior that could result in injury or destruction of equipment.
Can I add additional time?
Parties may request additional time for set-up or play time however we only guarantee extra time for those who book our 4:00 - 6:00 pm timeslot on Saturday and Sunday. Please contact us if you have questions about adding additional time.
How far in advance should I reserve?
We recommend booking at least 60 days in advance if you have a very specific date and time in mind. If you are more flexible we do often have last minute availability but your options may be more limited if you wait.
What if we need to cancel/reschedule?
Life happens, we get it! If for some reason you cannot celebrate on your original party date you may reschedule and your existing deposit will be transferred to the new date. If you cancel with more than 2 weeks notice you will forfeit only your non-refundable deposits. PARTIES CANCELLED WITH LESS THAN 2 WEEKS NOTICE WILL BE CHARGED A CANCELLATION FEE EQUAL TO 50% OF THE REMAINING BALANCE.
Can we celebrate during Open Play?
Yes and no... many families choose to visit Munchkin Town on the day of their child's birthday but we do not allow cake (or cupcakes), decorations or any other party related items during open play. NO EXCEPTIONS!
