Birthday Party FAQ

How do we reserve a birthday party?

Reservations can be made through our online booking portal. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your preferred time and date.

How many children and adults can attend?

Our space is most fun with 20 children or less but we allow a MAX of 25 children and 60 guests total. We do not charge per person with the exception of some party add-ons like goody bags.

Can older children attend?

Our play area is STRICTLY for children aged 6 AND UNDER. Adults and children older than 6 are more than welcome to play WITH the play-area aged children during the event. HOWEVER, anyone over 6 may NOT use our equipment or toys other than while assisting a younger child. This includes but is not limited to the bounce house, climbing structures, and ALL other play equipment and toys. Rough housing, throwing toys any other behavior that could result in the destruction of our equipment and toys will not be tolerated.

Can I add additional set-up or play time?

Yes! If you would like additional time there are a number of options. You may add additonal time to the following timeslots:

  • 4:00 - 6:00 pm Saturday and Sunday (may add time after 6:00 pm)

  • 10:00 am Sunday (may add time before 10:00 am)

If you wish to book extra time outside of the options above you will be required to book 2 separate party timeslots. 2nd timeslot will be discounted. Contact us before you book to discuss.

How far in advance should I reserve?

We recommend booking at least 60 days in advance if you have a very specific date and time in mind. If you are more flexible we do often have last minute availability but your options may be more limited if you wait.

What if we need to cancel/reschedule?

Life happens, we get it! If for some reason you cannot celebrate on your original party date you may reschedule and your existing deposit will be transferred to the new date. If you cancel with more than 2 weeks notice you will forfeit only your non-refundable deposits. PARTIES CANCELLED WITH LESS THAN 2 WEEKS NOTICE WILL BE CHARGED A CANCELLATION FEE EQUAL TO 50% OF THE REMAINING BALANCE.

Can we celebrate during Open Play?

Yes and no... many families choose to visit Munchkin Town on the day of their child's birthday but we do not allow cake (or cupcakes), decorations or any other party related items during open play. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Most basic party decorations including backdrops, balloons, tablecloths and centerpieces are permitted however we do have a few rules to consider when planning your event with us.

  • NO candy except for in goody bags which must be handed out at the end of the party.

  • NO materials that shed or are excessively messy including but not limited to glitter, feathers, confetti, etc.

  • NO ceiling décor.

  • NO pinatas

  • Yes, smash cakes ARE permitted. We have a highchair that you may use.

  • Wall décor may be allowed but must be hung with wall safe tape that we provide.

What kind of decor can I bring?

Can I provide my own decorations?

If you book our DIY celebration you are more than welcome to bring your own decorations if it meets the requirements listed above. If you are unsure about an item, we recommend contacting us before your party as we reserve the right to decline the use of certain decorations or charge an additional cleaning fee.

For those interested in our Ultimate Celebration or Mini Celebration, please note that those packages are not customizable beyond what is listed. If you wish to purchase additional decorations, you may bring them in on the day of the party and set them up during your designated time. If you would like for us to set up additional decorations beyond what is included in the package, please contact us prior to booking so that we provide a custom quote for your celebration.
